Literacy Bags Available for Teachers
The library has added literacy bags to its collection for teachers to use in the classroom. The titles available include the following:
"Just Enough Carrots" by Stuart J. Murphy
"Mouse Count" by Ellen Stoll Walsh
"Is Your Mama a Llama?" by Deborah Guarino
"Tuesday" by David Wiesner

"The Little Mouse, the Red, Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear" by Don Wood

These literacy bags each contain a book, a guide sheet, and some type of realia, such as a puppet. Teachers will need to request these at the circulation desk. There is a limit of one per card.

Class visits
Classes are always welcome at the library. We will fit our tour to your needs. Please talk to the youth services librarian to schedule your tour.
The youth services librarian would also be very happy to come to your classroom with stories or materials pertaining to your current area of study.
